Sutton man who illegally sold prescribed medicines online is sentenced

Police received intelligence that Jacob Brooks, 25, of Percival Gardens, had been advertising and supplying steroids, Diazepam and various prescription and non-prescription medicines between September and November 2018.
When officers searched his home they found and seized a significant number of medicines along with class C drugs and steroids.

Hide AdBrooks subsequently pleaded guilty to a charge of selling a medicine/product not subject to general sale, three charges of offering to supply a class C drug, one count of possession with intent to supply a class C drug and a further charge of possessing a medical product with intent to supply.
He appeared at Nottingham Crown Court on Tuesday where he was given a 13-month prison sentence, suspended for 18 months.
Detective Constable Akil Kapasi, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Offences of this nature will be dealt with to the full extent of the law.”
