Woman left with broken leg after hit-and-run Kirkby crash

The 68-year-old was hit by a dark-coloured car that failed to stop while she was crossing Station Street at around 11.30am on Wednesday, January 27.
Her leg was broken as a result of the collision and the pedestrian was taken to King’s Mill Hospital in Sutton to be treated for non life-threatening injuries.

Hide AdOfficers are urging witnesses who saw the crash to get in touch.
Police Constable Steven Van Der Bank said: "I am keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened or has any further information about this incident.
"Were you driving along Station Street around this time?
"Perhaps you recorded dashcam footage that may help us with our enquiries.
"Anyone with information is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 239 of 27 January 2021, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
