First picture of tragic Mansfield woman Paula Harris released as man charged with her murder
The allegation faced by Michael Foster, of St John’s Place, Mansfield, came after a woman died in St John’s Place at 6.10pm on Monday, January 29.
Nottinghamshire Police identified the woman who died as 44-year-old Paula Harris.

Hide AdFoster appeared at Nottingham Crown Court this morning (Friday, February 2) before Nottingham’s resident Judge Gregory Dickinson QC.
Wearing a white T-shirt and black jogging bottoms in the dock, he spoke to confirm his name during a short hearing to set future hearing dates.
The case was also listed for a bail application, which happens with all first cases heard at the crown court after they have been referred there by magistrates.
The court heard that the victim died of strangulation.
But no application was made by Foster’s barrister Michael Evans QC.

Hide AdA plea and trial preparation hearing was decided for May 25. A trial date was fixed for September 3, with a six-day estimate.
Foster was further remanded in custody.
