Fundraising success for brave Julie
In July, Chad told the moving story of Julie Ainger, who had fought cancer after discovering a lump in her breast.
To keep herself occupied through her illness, the 34-year-old organised a special charity fundraiser and has so far netted more than £1,000 for charity.

“During my long battle with my treatment for cancer, one of the things I looked forward to and helped to keep me busy when I was too ill to work was planning and organising my charity fundraiser event,” Julie said.
“On the day I had a raffle, with prizes kindly donated from Boots, Morrisons, Tesco, Asda, Center Parcs, Barlow’s Butchers, Notts County and Mansfield Town, AndWhyNot, and various friends and family who donated items to raffle off.
“From the bottom of my heart I really can’t thank everyone involved enough.”
All proceeds from the event will be donated to Cancer Research UK.
