Man 'removed from vehicle' by fire service after 'collision' on Church Warsop street

Fire crews and police were on the scene of a road traffic collision on a residential street in Church Street – as one individual was “extricated” from a vehicle.

Fire and Rescue Service crews were called to a road traffic collision on Laurel Avenue, Church Warsop, at 12:45pm on Tuesday, October 24.

A Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Firefighters from Warsop and Shirebrook attended, using small tools to extricate one individual from a vehicle.

“This person was then handed to the care of East Midlands Ambulance Service.”

Fire and rescue crews left the incident at 1:45pm.

Shirebrook Fire Station on Facebook – at fb.com/shirebrookFire – shared an update about the RTC.

A spokesperson for the station said “one male” was released from a vehicle on the scene.

Nottinghamshire Police has been approached for a comment.
