Mansfield man jailed for sexually assaulting 13-year-old girl
William Barry Levick, 78, formerly of the Mansfield area, pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting the child and five counts of sexually touching her between 1 January 2017 and 4 February 2017.
The victim first disclosed what had happened to her to police on 4 February 2017, telling officers Levick had been abusing her since Christmas 2016.

Hide AdNottingham Crown Court also heard how Levick had sent numerous texts and Facebook messages to the victim which she screenshot and sent onto Nottinghamshire Police.
Following Levick’s sentencing on Wednesday 22 March 2017, Inspector Natasha Todd said: "This child suffered terrible abuse at the hands of Levick.
"I am pleased she found the courage to tell someone what had happened to her so that we could take swift action against him and bring him to justice.
"I hope she can now try to move on with her life and put this dreadful ordeal behind her.
"I hope this sentencing shows that we will listen to victims of abuse and investigate thoroughly if they come forward and report what has happened to them."
