New arrival brings joy to generations
Two-week-old baby Peyton Carter, pictured here, is the newest and fifth generation member of a family from various parts of the Chad area.
Holding Peyton, who weighed in at 7lb, 2oz, is great, great grandmonther May Gascoigne (95). Also pictured are mum Katie Carter (21), grandfather Michael Schofield (46), third right, and great grandmother Jackie Schofield (68).
Said Jackie: “We have been over the moon. My dad idolised our Katie but he is not here now unfortunately.

“Katie is so proud and says she will treasure this her whole life. She does not realise what she has done.”
