Sutton shop thief jailed for 19 weeks
A Sutton woman has been jailed after she stole more than £200 of perfume from a Mansfield store.
Kate Draycott (28) of Carsic Road, admitted stealing £208 of perfume from Marks and Spencer, in Westgate, when she appeared before Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 22nd May.
The court heard that Draycott had entered the store on 3rd April but was stopped by security staff. She also admitted stealing meat from another store on March 31st.
Draycott also breached a suspended sentence imposed last July and was jailed for a total of 19 weeks by magistrates.
