There were scenes of pure triumph up and down the country on Monday as Harry Kane scored a last minute winning goal for England in their first World Cup match.

There were raucous celebrations all over England, and the story was no different in Mansfield.

In the Swan pub on Church Street, fans celebrated the injury time goal with glee as England won three points in their opening game.

The game was looking like a draw until the England captain scored the second goal in the 94th minute.

Fans packed into The Swan’s beer garden to watch the game on the big screen.
