Clough 'delighted' as duo pen new Mansfield Town deals

Nigel Clough says he is delighted that two Mansfield Town players have signed new deals with the Stags.

Defender Kellan Gordon and midfielder Harry Charsley have both pledged their futures to the club after penning contracts.

Right back Gordon has agreed a two-and-a-half-year deal.

The 23-year-old has made 22 appearances in all competitions for the Stags this term.

Attacking midfielder Harry Charsley has signed an contract which will keep him at One Call Stadium for the next 18 months.

The 24-year-old has scored five goals for the club so far this term.

Manager Clough said: “I’m delighted that two of our highly-rated young players have committed themselves to the club by their signing of new contracts.

“I think both players have played a major role in our upturn in fortunes in the last three months and this is their reward for that.”
