“For my part; we’re on social media all the time, we want to be in the forefront of people’s minds, we want to keep the content varied, I’m at most games taking photos of the match action, whilst now we have invested in a scaffolding tower so we can put a highlights package on a couple of days after the game too”.
It’s not just about the media for Clipstone though, Chairman Richard Clarey is at the forefront in keeping everyone on their toes with the Coronavirus regulations.
“Richard is our chairman first and foremost but he is determined we all stick to the Covid regulations, we can’t get frustrated and let our standards slip, he won’t allow it .

“When we played Borrowash Victoria just before lockdown I got a message back from someone who attended the game. He told me it’s one of the few times, he has genuinely felt a club was correctly applying Covid regulations. He’s a typical ground hopper and had been to 69 other matches since the new season began. It’s comments like that, for me, that makes all the hard work everyone at the football club puts in worthwhile.”
