“I am under no illusions that there are some good teams around us, like Sherwood, Belper and Clifton,” he said.

Eastwood are a great team at home and will be right up there, but we have to believe in ourselves.

“I want consistency for the rest of the season. Can the players get to every game? Can they be available so we have our strongest eleven out each week?

“If they can do that then we will be in with a chance, of course we will.”

And Winter also believes the mindset in the camp is different this time with the dressing room full of belief that they are onto something special.

“We had bad news in the club and I asked the players to think about how lucky they are to play on a regular basis and to be looked after,” added Winter.

“They have bought into it and I just want them to come back with the desire.

“I’d like to think we can be in the top half and push for the top four spot and promotion. We have spoken about it,

“The lads have set high standards and they get disappointed if they don't meet them, That's something new i have seen this season.”
