Hide AdNicknamed ‘The Beast’ because of his imposing stature, Jensen has played in all four divisions of the Football League during his distinguished career, but is best remembered for a glittering decade-long spell at Burnley.
He helped the Clarets win promotion to the Premier League in 2008/09 and racked up over 300 appearances – keeping clean sheets against Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal, Everton and many others.
In total, the 6ft 1in shot-stopper, who also helped West Bromwich Albion reach the Premier League in 2001/02, has kept 132 clean-sheets from 423 appearances in English football.
Jensen, who hails from Denmark, said: “I had an opportunity to come here last year, but at the time it didn’t really suit Crawley. There has been interest since and as soon as I heard the gaffer wanted to bring me here again, it was massive for me.”

“With the hard work that he’s putting in, it should be a good combination to succeed.”
The Danish ‘keeper will be working closely with fellow shot-stopper Scott Shearer, who agreed terms on a deal at One Call Stadium earlier in the day.
