Lindsay lifts Novice Cup at climax of competition
Mansfield Bowling Club's Novice Cup was won by Stephen Lindsay, who defeated Barry Withers after a tense six-end final.
Club president Mrs Linda Alvey said all the players who took part put up spirited performances. Competition committee chairman Neil Vardy said the standard of bowling in the cup was good and boded well for the future of the club.
