Selston remain three points clear at the top of the Premier Division after a 1-0 win at Boots Athletic on Saturday.

Ben Moore struck the winning goal with ten minutes to go, beating two defenders before slotting it through the goalkeeper’s legs to seal the points.

Wollaton in second still have three games in hand on Selston and were also winners at the weekend.

Awsworth Villa secured just their third win of the season with a 4-2 success at bottom-of-the-table Kirton Brickworks.

It was a good day for Villa as their reserve side finally broke their winning duck with a 3-2 success at Magdala Amateurs, Josh Gaughan with two goals and sub Liam Edwards with the other. 

Underwood Villa kept the pressure on at the top in Division One with a 1-0 success at Southwell City Reserves, whilst Kimberley MW Reserves were knocked out of the Intermediate Cup, 2-0 at Bilsthorpe.

Division Two leaders Watnall Athletic had a bad day at the office with a 5-1 loss to third-placed Aspley Park, Mackenzy Henson on target.

In the Junior Cup, Kimberley MW AFC were 3-1 winners at Underwood Villa Reserves, Ben Foster, Ben Greenhalgh and Anthony Withe on target for Kimberley and Greg Kent for Villa.
