Pye Hill and District Choir to perform free thank you concert

The Pye Hill and District Male Voice Choir will be appearing in concert at the Dale Club, Jacksdale, on Saturday January 23, as a thank you to its hosts.

Make a date in your diary to enjoy a tonic for the winter blues from 8pm, and all for free.

2015 proved to be another busy year for the choir who undertook 15 concerts and engagements, including a tour to Durham singing for the Bowburn Banner Group (former Durham miners) and at the Beamish Museum in the reconstructed Miners’ Chapel.

The choir once again is confident at having a full, varied and exciting concert programme for 2016, including a number of joint concerts with other choirs, the highlights being singing with three other Derbyshire choirs on April 16, at Derby Cathedral and its annual tour in early May, this year to Babbacombe, Devon.
